Notice regarding all forms of payment

Payments must be made in U.S. Funds. Please do not send cash through the mail. Payments must be received no later than five (5) working days prior to the next appearance date. Otherwise the payment may not be posted in the case when the case is heard in court. This may result in the court issuing a Bench Warrant for non-completion of requirements.

Send Payment by Mail
Send the payment for the criminal case through the USPS mail using a money order, personal or cashier's check. Be sure to write the case number on the cashier's check or money order.
 
Payments must be made to the Las Vegas Justice Court. The mailing address is:

To receive a receipt showing that the payment was processed, you must include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
  
Send Payment through Western Union
For further information, contact Western Union for directions on the QUICK COLLECT® process, and how to send the payment to Justice Customer Service Office. Online at:  www.westernunion.com 

The following information is needed to complete the transaction:
Pay to: Justice Court LV Township; Code-City-State LVCLERKSERVICES; Defendant's full name; Defendant's Criminal Case number.
 
When a customer makes their payment, they will receive a 10-digit Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).  This number identifies the payment and must be referenced in all inquiries. Any disputes regarding fee payments must be resolved between the customer and Western Union and not the Las Vegas Justice Court.
 
Make Your Payment In-Person
Payments are accepted at the Justice Court Clerk’s Office on the 2nd Floor of the Regional Justice Center, during regular business hours by cash, VISA©, MASTERCARD® or DISCOVER® debit or credit card, personal check, money order, or cashier's check. Be sure to write the case number on the check or money order. 
  
Payment From Other Countries
For customers living outside the United States, payment must be made in U.S. Funds.  Foreign Money Orders that list U.S. bank names on the form of payment or indicate U.S. Funds/U.S. Dollar Account are acceptable. Please do not send payment by foreign currency, International money order, or postal order.

Insufficient Funds Payment
Insufficient funds received by the court will result in a warrant being issued for your arrest and additional fees and fine. The issuance of a check or draft without sufficient funds, or with the intent to defraud is a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment  or could constitute a felony.
