What types of protection orders are available in justice court?
Protection against harassment in the workplace, protection orders against a person who is engaged in stalking, aggravated stalking or harassment, or protective orders sought on behalf of a child.

In what township may an applicant apply for a protection order?
The application must be filed where the conduct occurred or where the person who was affected by the conduct was located at the time that the conduct occurred. (NRS 200.581)
Is there a filing fee required to apply for a protection order?
No. The court is required, however, to assess costs against the adverse party but the court can waive or reduce these costs.
When does a temporary order expire?
For harassment in the workplace, the order must expire no later than 15 days after the date on which the order is issued. All other protection orders, the court can make a temporary order effective for up to 30 days.
When must an application for an extended order be filed?
Before the expiration of the temporary order.
When does an extended order expire?
The court can extend the order for up to 1 year.
