Transcript Requests
Transcripts are the written version of the words or testimony spoken in a courtroom during a court proceeding. All proceedings are recorded either by an official Court Reporter or electronically via JAVS video. The procedure for requesting transcripts is different, depending on how the proceeding was recorded.
Transcripts of Proceedings Recorded by a COURT REPORTER
All transcript requests of a proceeding conducted in Las Vegas Justice Court where an official Court Reporter was present to transcribe the proceeding, must be made directly to the Court Reporter. Requests for transcripts submitted online will not be satisfied when an official Court Reporter was present.
Transcripts of Proceedings Recorded electronically via JAVS Video
All transcript requests of a proceeding conducted in Las Vegas Justice Court where an official Court Reporter was not present to transcribe the proceeding, the JAVS video recording of the hearing will be used to produce the official transcript.
Individuals wishing to have a transcript produced from a JAVS recorded proceeding must go online to LVJCtranscripts.com to submit a transcript request form, which will require the information below. Please verify that your request is for a Las Vegas Justice Court case number. Requests will not be satisfied that contain a case number for any other court.

Once a request is submitted online, an email notification will be automatically sent to LVJC Criminal Records to request the JAVS video necessary for processing.
After the JAVS video has been transcribed, the official transcript will be emailed directly to the requesting party.
